Welcome Educators!

Hello Colleagues,

This blog has been created as a place to share vital and casual information such as, the name, the URL, description and uses of various types of educational technology tools, websites and resources that we may come across in trainings or through necessity.

With the immense amounts of information that the Internet brings and minimal downtime that educators possess, it is important to be able to have a quick-access, specific and secure place that one can visit online to learn about the new ways to transform our classroom and keep our students engaged.

Feel free to post as much information as you can so that even the first year teacher can comfortably use this blog to access the resources that we will be sharing.

Thank you for your contributions!

RG

  1. Hi Raul:
I agree with you that teachers should have a site to log-on that will give them the necessary tools to be successful in the teaching field and help them to become digital natives along with our kids and student. After teaching for 2 years, I found that many of the teacher on campus have little knowledge of the new Web 2.0 tools available and I am include myself in that group of teachers. Now that I am back to finish my Master do I see how much I have lost in the 2 years that I was out. I am so grateful to be back in college and have the advantage to bring my new learned knowledge and experiences back to my campus.

  2. Hello...
This is a useful and friendly site that might help those of you working with high schools students. The SAT sample test is free and can be taken on-line.

After completing this - students will feel more comfortable about the actual test and will be able to identify their strengths and weaknesses.

  3. I like the concept of your blog and below is a link to a cyber ethics article. I think all teachers need to teach cyber ethics.

  4. Hey Raul,

I like the idea of many bloggers contributing to a bank of resources that we can all post and use. I’m working on a similar concept for my wiki project. Here’s a link that may be helpful http://www.p21.org/.

  6. See if your district has logged you in for ProjectShare (www.epsilen.com). It is set to be a big place to create groups, share courses, etc.
